Carl Daufer (Bibby Leasing) wins Outstanding Future Leader Award

  • Rachael Woods (CIT Europe) also recognised for exceptional commitment to the programme

Carl Daufer (Bibby Leasing) was recognised as the future leader who demonstrated outstanding potential for growth and achievement.

Carl Daufer is Operations Manager for Bibby Leasing Ltd and based in Leeds, UK. He is responsible for the New Business Administration and Finance teams, ensuring first class service levels whilst delivering solutions which drive efficiencies both internally and externally. He originally trained as a Chartered Management Accountant. Carl recently led technology projects including implementing an online proposal submission and tracking system. He is a supporter of many charitable causes and has raised over £25,000 for these causes in the last three years.

On receiving the award Carl said:

“To be recognised by my peers for the commitment and hard work over the last 18 months is a fantastic feeling. I am extremely proud of this achievement and it tops off what has been an incredibly rewarding 18 months on the Future Leaders programme. The Leasing Foundation are a forward thinking organisation who have the future success of the industry at the core of what they do. The Foundation has opened up a number of opportunities for me and I am looking forward to continuing to work with them.”

The Foundation recognised Carl by making a donation of £1,000 on his behalf to his chosen cause the Alzheimer’s Association (http://www.alzheimersresearchuk.org).

Also recognised for her contribution to the programme was Rachael Woods (CIT Europe). The Foundation has donated £500 on her behalf to her chosen cause Kids Company (http://www.kidsco.org.uk/) who provide practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable children, young people and families.

The Outstanding Future Leader Award was created by Sharon Butler, NetApp’s EMEA sales director, and Dave Allen, vice-president and general manager Northern EMEA at NetApp.
