DAVID GOLD (GOLD GROUP INTERNATIONAL) AND DR. KATIE SIDLE (UCL INSTITUTE OF NEUROLOGY) TO SPEAK AT LEASING INDUSTRY CHRISTMAS LUNCH.
The Motor Neurone Disease Association and Macmillan Cancer Support are the two causes that will benefit from The Leasing Industry Christmas Lunch to be held at the Institute of Directors, Pall Mall, London on 14 December. The lunch, a central fixture of the industry Christmas calendar, includes a charity auction and raffle to raise funds in support of these causes.
Derek Soper, organiser of the lunch on behalf of the Leasing Foundation, says “We are delighted to be able to support the work of two charities that are helping people with devastating diseases. We want to play our part in giving something back, and we can think of no better way to do that than by working with organisations that are effective in developing new treatments, performing groundbreaking research and supporting people who need support the most”.
Speaking at the lunch are David Gold, Chairman of Gold Group International and Chairman of West Ham United Football Club, and Dr Katie Sidle, consultant neurologist at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and senior lecturer researching in the field of motor neurone disease at the UCL Institute of Neurology, and joint Director for the Motor Neuron Disease Association Regional Care and Research MND centre.
Donations direct to these two charities are also welcome from those unable to attend.
