Professor Peter Thomas, COO of the Leasing Foundation, has been appointed as Visiting Professor of Financial Innovation at Falmouth University.
The appointment is intended to further the relationship between the Foundation and Falmouth University, including the development of new specialist postgraduate programmes in Leasing and Asset Finance.
Speaking about the appointment, Falmouth University’s Vice-Chancellor & CEO Professor Anne Carlisle says “The university is committed to industry-focused research, learning, innovation and enterprise. I am confident that we can stimulate innovative approaches to finance that will benefit the South West region, the UK and Europe”.
Professor Peter Thomas says “I am delighted that Falmouth University has committed to developing our relationship through the Visiting Professorship in Financial Innovation. My aim is to work closely with the university to create innovative educational programmes that support the leasing and finance industry and to generate innovation in an important part of the finance landscape.”
