The Leasing Foundation Future Leaders – Mark Wilson

Mark Wilson was awarded the Caterpillar Chairman’s award in January 2012 for exceptional performance and promoted to Senior Territory Manager in 2014 with responsibilities for dealer and customer relationship management in the South of the United Kingdom.

Mark graduated from Loughborough University in 2006 with a degree in Information, Management & Computer Science.  Starting his career at CAT Financial in June 2007, Mark worked with a global network of Caterpillar dealers to create remarketing processes for repossessed Caterpillar equipment, and in 2011 became Territory Manager in March 2011, serving the Caterpillar Financial Services operations in Ireland and Northern Ireland based in Dublin.

Mark is a sportsman, representing the Midlands and Warwickshire in hockey and captaining Olton & West Warwicks HC first XI in the second tier of English hockey. He is a committed volunteer, and works as a hockey coach for both children and adults aspiring to improve their hockey skills. He ran in the Paris Marathon in April 2014 to raise £1500.00 for Cancer Research UK, participated in the Tamworth Tough Mudder in July 2012 to raise money for the Help for Heros, and took part in an expedition to Tanzania supporting in the restoration of a classroom in a dilapidated school, reaching the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro at the end of the expedition.
