The development of networks is one part of the Leasing Foundation’s Women in Leasing initiative that aims to address the smaller proportion of women than men in senior positions in the leasing and asset finance industry.
You have been nominated by one of our Governors, Founding Fellows or Fellows to be part of the Women in Leasing initiative, as a recognition of your talent, the benefits, experience and knowledge that you would bring to our collective, and the value you would derive from becoming involved.
Providing a networking forum for women within the industry will allow the establishment of mentoring and skills development opportunities, the identification of common barriers to establishing a more diverse workforce at a senior and executive level, and will provide an open space for sharing experiences and challenges. Our aim is to not just to talk, but to support women in positioning themselves to make strategic contributions to their organisations and to the industry, and then to recognise and track those contributions.
You are therefore warmly invited to Save the Date for the Inaugural Women in Leasing Network Event scheduled for the 26th June from 4pm to 6pm (tbc)
