The event is OPEN TO ALL from the leasing industry, in particular those interested in joining a network of LGBTQ+ professionals and allies. The goal of the event is to gauge interest in (and potentially kick-off) an LGBTQ+ professional network for the leasing industry similar to InterLaw Diversity Forum, InterBank or InterTech. These organisations have several different goals, primarily raising awareness for LGBTQ+ issues, attracting diverse talent to their respective industries and facilitating professional networking. Typically, companies with employees that belong to these organisations will host LGBTQ+ events, inviting those from across the industry to their offices for presentations, drinks or fundraising activities. While the focus of these events will be LGBTQ+ in nature, the events also serve as excellent recruitment and marketing opportunities.

The Leasing Foundation Diversity & Inclusion Group, in conjunction with Alfa Financial Software and Auxillas, will host its inaugural LGBTQ+ Christmas Social on 9th December, from 5:30 pm at The Alchemist (Bevis Marks) in Aldgate, London. The event is open to all from the leasing industry interested in joining a network of LGBTQ+ professionals and allies.
