D&D Leasing, AF-PA, Leasing Foundation, Partner on Christmas Charity event

The 2018 event will be held at the Savoy Hotel on 13 December 2018 to raise funds for Grief Encounter. Grief Encounter supports bereaved children and their families to help alleviate the pain caused by the death of a parent or sibling. They help make sense of the hurt and confusion through therapeutic services, which allows them to express themselves on their own terms. https://www.griefencounter.org.uk/

Each year, D&D Leasing organises a Christmas event to raise awareness of, and much-needed funding for, lesser-known and underfunded charities.

In 2018, the event will be supported by both the Asset Finance – Professionals Association (AF-PA) and The Leasing Foundation who are for the first time working together to promote charitable giving in business and asset finance.

Rev. Dr. K. Bill Dost, Group CEO of D&D Leasing, says “We are delighted to continue our longstanding tradition of raising funds for lesser-known causes this year and I welcome our association with both AF-PA and The Leasing Foundation. It can only be a good thing for the industry that we work together to harness the generosity of asset finance professionals – we are stronger together.”

ABOUT THE D&D LEASING CHRISTMAS EVENT
This year’s event takes place at the Savoy Hotel on 13 December 2018. The event has been organised by Rev Dr. K. Bill Dost of D&D Leasing for almost a decade and has raised funds for a variety of causes including education in Sierra Leone, neonatal medicine, youth mental health and honour-based abuse. The events have raised over £50,000.
