As Mental Health Awareness week 2024 approaches, The Leasing Foundation is holding a Time to Talk event. A panel discussion followed by Jeremy Lyons and Louise Lyons-Appiah from Beyond’s youth board will discuss their personal experiences, how the Beyond charity supports young people and their parents/ carers during mental health challenges. The evening will conclude with breakout sessions, networking and drinks.

It will take place on Wednesday 24 April, 5pm – 8pm at Shoosmiths in Birmingham (B3 3AG)
The panel event will focus on how we support employees in our organisations with all caring responsibilities and in particular for children and young people experiencing mental health challenges.

Beyond is a youth mental health charity, tackling the growing mental health crisis affecting young people in the UK. Roughly one in five young people suffers from a mental disorder. The organisation uses it expertise and resources to help those working with young people access the right mental health support for those in their care.
