At the Leasing Foundation, our mission is to build a diverse, world-class community in asset finance, helping individuals and businesses thrive through connection, development and positive action. Here’s what we’ve achieved so far in 2025:
| Supporting Coach Core | Through our summer party, text raffle, ongoing fundraising (including our third place at the AFPA Big Quiz), we’ve raised significant funds to support Coach Core’s work helping young people into education and employment through sport. |
| 50 strong at London Pride | For the first time ever, we coordinated an asset finance industry presence at London Pride, bringing together 50 colleagues from across the sector to march in solidarity with LGBTQ+ peers. A landmark moment for visibility and inclusion. |
| NextGen Industry Insights – third cohort launched | Our flagship programme has entered its third year, supporting early and mid-career professionals through in-person sessions with leading businesses. | 30 Under 30: fifth year running | We opened nominations for our 30 Under 30 list, recognising the next generation of leaders driving change, supporting others, and showing what’s possible in asset finance. More information here. |
| South Asian Heritage Month event | In July, we hosted our first South Asian Heritage Month panel and networking evening, creating space for honest conversations around identity, culture and representation in the industry. |
| Record-breaking summer party | Our flagship summer party, held in June at The Royal Exchange, saw record attendance and fundraising numbers, bringing the community together to connect and support a great cause. As part of the Foundation’s commitment to sustainability, we also donated £500 to the National Trust. |
| Over 500 attendees across events | Between networking, learning sessions and social events, we’ve welcomed more than 500 individuals in the first half of the year. |
| Coach Core Sports Day | We were proud to take part in Coach Core’s summer Sports Day, joining teams from across the sector for a day of friendly competition and fundraising. A great way to support our charity partner and champion its work. |
| International Women’s Day celebration | To mark IWD 2025, we shone a light on 25 inspiration women in the industry to celebrate the #AccelerateAction’ theme – a call for real progress everywhere. Most women featured were nominated by someone who took part in 2024 – a chain of recognition that keeps growing. |
| Industry Insights alumni breakfasts launched | We kicked off our new Industry Insights alumni breakfast series – giving past participants a chance to reconnect, share stories and build a supportive network that lasts beyond the programme. |
