Connect Roulette is back! Launched last year, it was a huge success which connected over 400 individuals from our industry and we want to ensure that we keep connecting, talking and learning.
What is Connect Roulette?
Connect Roulette aims to bring together professionals from the asset finance industry, whether that’s the next generation of talent or industry veterans, this is open to everyone. We will pair two individuals from different organisations for a 30-minute chat, either online or in person. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your network, and to make a personal connection with an industry colleague. How you meet and what you make of the connection will be entirely up to you. Whether it evolves into a mentor relationship, a longstanding sounding board, or making further connections, the opportunity is yours!
Why participate?
- Build your network: Meet and connect with professionals from various organisations across our industry.
- Learn something new: You are guaranteed to learn something new – whether about our industry or about its amazing participants.
- Raise your profile: if you’re new to the industry or wanting to develop personally, expanding your network is a great first step in achieving this.
- Explore peer-to-peer or mentoring opportunities: Develop potential peer-to-peer or mentor/reverse-mentor relationships, either directly with your connection or within their connections.
- Promote inclusivity: Support our mission to foster inclusivity within the asset finance industry.
- Raise awareness: We’ll highlight the importance of World Inclusion Day and World Mental Health Day, both observed on 10 October 2025.

- Pair up: We’ll pair you with another member for a coffee chat – you will be introduced to your connection on 10 October via email. We’ll provide suggested topics to get the conversation started.
- Connect: Schedule your 30-minute chat at a convenient time, either online or in person.
Please note: To avoid any conflicts of interests, individuals who work within recruitment agencies are requested not to participate.
Contribution:
You can join this initiative for FREE. However, we kindly suggest a £5 entry fee for participants or businesses that are able to contribute, which will go directly to our chosen charity: Coach Core. This small contribution can make a big difference in supporting young individuals who traditionally may experience barriers, discrimination and lack of opportunities.
